Passback to PowerSchool marks all "collected"--UGH!

#1--It is impossible to find the thread for this issue, so if you are Canvas responding, please attach a link to the thread.  

#2--This has to stop!  Teachers should NOT have to defend when Canvas is incorrectly marking "collected" in PowerSchool when students are not turning in work.

#3--I know..separate issue...but WHY, if I mark an assignment as late, don't the flags carry over to PowerSchool??

Although Instructure (Canvas) employees do sometimes visit this board, it is mostly a community for fellow Canvas users to share tips and ideas.

In general, Instructure does not have any control over how third-party partners behave. You may find something useful in the PowerSchool integration guides. I did find these notes on the How do I sync grades from Canvas to the PowerSchool gradebook? guide:

Notes:

• Submissions with Late status cannot be synced to the PowerSchool gradebook.
• Submissions with Missing or Excused status without a score will sync a 0 score to the PowerSchool gradebook.
