How can I download the list of signed up students in groups in a tab delimited or comma separated file?

You can use the group Import feature to get a CSV download of the students and the groups they are assigned to when you download the course roster. The group_name column will be empty for students that aren't assigned to a group, but it will include the group_name if they are currently assigned to a group.
