Module requirements: Editing item content

Question

If you have a module with the requirement in which an item is set to be “marked as done”can the teacher edit the content in that item that has already been marked as done by a student? Will the student need to mark it as done again if the teacher edits it or will their initial selection of the “marked as done” button remain selected? (e.g., editing typos in text or other content in the module item that is already marked as done)

Hi @JeffreyBurleson,

It appears to me that once the student marks as done, that is permanent for that specific content item.  Even if you edit the item content significantly, there doesn't seem to be a way to unmark it as done (f that's what you wanted).  I'd say if there are major changes, it may be better to create a whole new page and add it to the module rather than edit existing things students may have already completed.
