I have an existing quiz (that was integrated from Blackboard) and I would like to use most of the questions for a current course. I would like to know if I can delete questions from the existing quiz.
Hi @BarbaraStoner You didn't mention if you were using Classic Quizzes or New Quizzes. Yes, you can delete a question from an existing quiz. Let's say you're using Classic Quizzes (aka Quizzes), edit the quiz, click the Questions tab, then hover your mouse over the question you want to delete. You'll see an "X" (see screenshot below). Click the "X" and the question will be deleted.
If you're using New Quizzes, go to Build, and you'll see a trash can icon in the upper right of the question (see screenshot below).
I hope I answered your question, if not, then could you please provide more details?
Hi @BarbaraStoner ,
To delete questions from an existing quiz, you just edit the quiz, go to the "Questions" tab, and click the "X" next to the question that you want to remove:
Hi, I just started working with question banks which should be accessible for different course. Clearly, it would be annoying to rewrite a question bank. We are looking to take better advantage of the portfolio offerings. Currently, it doesn't appear that evaluation portfolios are ready for multi-semester updating at the higher ed level. But with showcase portfolios, how are other instructors keeping track that students have completed the requirements? Just through visiting…
It would appear that there is a new interface for speedgrader and the rubric is now defaulted on, rather than having the tab with the option to use the rubric. I do not use the rubric unless I am deducting points. That means that I do not need rubrics very often. It looks like I can opt for "show old speedgrader UI" and…
Hello, I have some general, technical questions about Canvas quiz and activity logs and their interpretation. I am trying to better understand how these logs work from a technical perspective and what they are designed to capture. I am not asking about any specific case. Specifically, I am hoping to clarify: What types of…
