How do I fix the problem with submission comments in the Speed Grader?

Question

I used to be able to provide and view submission comments for my assignments in SpeedGrader.  However, all of a sudden, I cannot see any submission comments (both my students' and my own) unless I go to the individual grades page for the students.

Does anyone know why this happens and how I can fix this problem?

I cannot even see the comments I have made.  This is driving me crazy!

Thank for reaching out in the community, I am sorry you have gone so long without a reply!

It sounds like maybe it's a group assignment and something might have changed? If it's a group assignment did you change the groups that students were in? Check the assignment settings and see if the option to grade students individually was changed if it is a group assignment.

If it's not a group assignment then perhaps someone else from the community may have some insight. I would however suggest reaching out to Canvas Support as well.
