I have inserted a table 2x2 cells into a page.
I can't work out how to resize the cell widths/margins.

I think the information in the How do I insert a table using the Rich Content Edi... - Instructure Community guide might be really helpful to you. That guide outlines basically all of the options you have for tables in the Canvas RCE, including size, color, borders, etc.
