Respondus has an application where you can upload a Word document to Canvas to build your question bank for Classic Quizzes. I'm not sure if they support the upload to New Quizzes.
Publishers usually provide a way to download their questions to either a .QTI file (usually ends up as a .ZIP file) or an .LMSCC file for you to upload into Canvas.
It all depends how you need to batch upload the questions.
