Roll Call - Overall Attendance Report

Currently the only way to view the overall class attendance (from beginning of semester to today) is by having an Attendance Report emailed to you in .csv format.

Is there a way to view the attendance report from within the Roll Call tool? just like any other respected LMS system would have it?

Did you you know you can select a student's name and see their overall class attendance from the beginning of the class to today? Attached is a screenshot example. I remember Frodo being late to class one day because he had to visit the healers tent to have them look at his hand.

We have had a few teachers ask for this. It seems like it wouldn't be too difficult, because this information is already available to individual students by clicking on the assignment in their gradebook. It would just be a matter of gathering the information for each student and formatting it differently. How do I view my Roll Call Attendance report as a Student - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com). But I imagine this will have to wait until the theme moves forward.
