How do I move a quiz that lives in Assignments to Quizzes? My quizzes somehow ended up in the wrong place, and not only is it visually distracting, student scores are not appearing in Grades.
Here's the deal: In Canvas, the term "Assignments" refers to two different things:
As an instructor, you are going to see every graded item in your Gradebook listed under Assignments.
Why does Canvas do this? Because every graded item shows up in Assignments, the instructor is able to put all of the graded items into "Assignment Groups" and then "weight" the Groups for grading.
Make sure to have your students access their course materials through Modules. I would advise you to disable Assignments, Discussions, Pages, and Quizzes in the students' Course Navigation Bar
