If you are using current Classic Quizzes, I have a write-up here in the Community where you can bulk upload quiz questions (and I believe there is an option for test banks) using a software program called Respondus Exam Authoring Tool. Batch Uploading Quiz Questions with Respondus
You'll notice that your file needs to be formatted in a specific way, but once you get the hang of it, this product saves you time vs. having to manually create questions in Canvas one-by-one.
(I no longer have access to the Respondus software, but I will try my best to answer any questions you may have about it.)
