Copying a Quiz should not copy the due date:

• It causes assigning a zero grade to all students to the quiz that had passed the due date
  • if an auto-zero grade is turned on for any missed quiz in the new course
  • even if you change the due date after it had copied to the new course.
• It causes students to freak out about a zero grade that is not due yet.
• You have to manually erase each zero grade for every student on the copied quiz to fix the problem.
• Copying a quiz should only copy the quiz contents but not the due dates, available dates, or anything not related to the contents of the quiz.

Please fix it.

I agree. The "copy" function is flawed.

A much better option is to "import" content into the destination course. When you "import," be sure to import "selected" content. You can import just one quiz (or multiple ones). Make sure to "adjust" and then "remove" dates.
