School Name

Question

We have used Canvas Instructure for several courses. When students who have been invited to the course try to find us on the mobile app, it asks for "School Name." I have searched for the School Name for our account and I can't find that anywhere, Where do I find/enter School Name?

Hi @MonikaSutherlan,

While I don't know exactly where the names are pulled from (or how to change them), I can tell you that you can direct students to enter the URL to your canvas environment (ex: school.instructure.com) in that box and it will work.  That's what we direct students at my institution to do just to avoid any possible duplication of names or anything since the URL/domain is more defined.
