When I log on to my canvas account, everything is blank and it doesn't display a "courses" icon. When I click inbox, calendar and dashboard, It is just a blank white screen.

What kind of device are you using when you try to access Canvas? Usually blank screens indicate either an outdated operating system or web browser is being used. You can see the What are the browser and computer requirements guide for information on currently supported systems and browsers. Hopefully the solution will be a simple update of your browser or operating system.
Let us know if you're able to access Canvas after making sure your software is up to date!
