Is there a way to use pictures in the categories on the categorize questions in new quizzes? or in matching?
Hello @BeckiCovington
Thanks for posting this in the global Canvas Community.
I was able to test this out and I think I have an answer for you on this.
With new quizzes, when using matching or categorization questions, the answer field does not allow you to upload images. This is because the Rich content editor is not an option. However you can upload images in the question stem area. The same rule also applies for Matching questions.
This is a bit of a work around, but I have seen some instructors use tables with images in the questions stem area. They will set up a table in the Question stem and then upload the images to the table. They will then make the answers correspond to the images placed in the stem.
I don't think there is another way to do this with those type of questions based on my testing with this.
Hopefully this helps!

Here is a screenshot from an attempt to create a new Athena account. What does it mean when it says "supports open Canvas connections" or "Canvas Connection Open"? Can we close our Canvas instance to connections?
Is having students read the textbook considered an assignment or an activity if there is no grade but a required date?
Hoping someone can explain for me. We're using pacing to avoid manually dating regular assignments each quarter, but the dates I see are based on when the course was instantiated, while students see dates based on when they were added to the course by [backend software I don't know anything about, presumably]. If I set…

Ours is currently in the form of an email that already exists, becoming a new user - and not automatically merging with the user ID with the same email that also is linked to our SIS ID correctly as well. For example, user 1 is xyz@gmail.com without a…

However, in programs where multiple educators are involved in assessment—such as team teaching, moderation, or competency-based evaluation—there are important questions about…
