How do I move the composed page to the Welcome Page?

If you have created a new page in your courses on the "Pages" index page of your course:
...you can then assign that course as the "Front Page" ... so that it is the page your students will see each time they log in to your course. To assign a new content page as a "Front Page", follow these steps:
Then, once you do this, if you've not already done this next step, you need to tell Canvas which part of your course you want to use as your "Home" page. Follow the steps in this Guide...selecting the options for "Pages Front Page":
