Course Sections and Bypassing Prerequisites/Requirements

I have a group different course sections within my course. If a course section isn't assigned to an assignment that is in the prerequisite or requirement, can they still move on? I am trying to create a specific course section which those who are in the section can freely move and view all of the modules without actually completing the course (ex. assignments, requirements etc.).

That was a very good question.  I tried it out with my playground and some student accounts.  If you use differentiated assignments (assignments assigned to a select group of students), then only those students with the assignment must meet the requirements.

A section of students not included on the assignment will see the module completed and they do not see the assignments they have not been assigned.  They only see the material that has been assigned to them.
