Cant acutally build new quizzes?

Ive been attempting to make new quizzes and test the feature out. But everytime i do this i get the same error-message, "There is a problem with this assessment. Please contact your instructor".

I cannot edit, build or make any changes to new quizzes. I can however migrate an old quiz to new. But then again i cannot edit or change anything there either. What to do?

Just found the solution myself ð

You get the error if you have Student Ã nd Teacher role assigned to your user. If you remove the "Student" role from your user, the problem disappears.

For those who get the same error message ("There is a problem with this assessment. Please contact your instructor."), the solution is that the teacher's role in the course needs to switch from Student to Teacher.

Hey Instructure folks - could this be fixed? Or could the error message be rewritten to be helpful?

I had to copy-paste it into Google, skip past the top three search results that led to "file not found" on your website, and then I found a solution on this three year old forum post.
