I did get the invitation email, but when I clicked on "Get Started", I was not given the option to accept the invite. I have access to the course, and I can edit and make changes, but the status still shows as pending.
That's definitely not normal behavior. I might suggest the IT vitals: delete cookies and cache, restart the browser, restart the computer.

I came across this thread while doing a community cleanup. In addition to @DrNufer's suggestions, I will also say that if you visit your course home page, or your Canvas dashboard, you should see the option to accept pending invites at the top of your screen (at least as long as you're using a web browser on a computer, not sure how the apps function for this).

In Classic Quizzes, it is possible to display question-level feedback to students without manually grading an essay question on a quiz. Can this be enabled in New Quizzes? Use Case: This feature is vital for practice quizzes that include essay questions along with other question types. We mix essay questions with other…
Our "Outcomes" has not been working for about 6 months. Teachers can't build and attach Outcomes to new quizzes. Canvas said it was a rollover issue. Canvas won't fix it unless we pay them $2000 to "re-train" us for 10 hours. Has anyone had this problem and did it get fixed?
