Is there a setting in Canvas that opens up more/less for parental access? I saw a parent account this weekend where they could see only 'Assignments' for some courses, but 'Assignments' and 'Front Page' for others. Does the parent have to pair with their student for each class, or just once as the student?
When using the grading feature, the screen jumps quickly left and right about 1/8" or more. It's like trying to hit a moving target just to click Submit. Keying and then editing is an impossibility with the jumpy screen.
Hi, I can filter live in the gradebook to see late submissions but when I export it, it doesn't pull through to the data. I want to know if late submissions have a trend in our summative assessment results. Can I pull a report that shows late submissions? Thanks
Could anyone confirm please either Sandbox Canvas Instance have Ignite-AI enabled or not? If enabled, how to get it.
Is there a way that I can see which grades I've left comments for in the gradebook, without having to open the sidebar? I'd like to be able look at my full gradebook and see - without clicking on individual grades one at a time - which grades have a comment and which don't.
The module remains locked only given 3 attempts 30 minutes but did not pass what I do now since I can't get to the other pre-requisites. It is for drivers Ed took the test in module 4.9 but failed.Cannot reach 5.1 what do I do.
How could we retrieve auto-saved responses from our discussion post?
I have a student who uploaded a PDF file which contains several textboxes using the Canvas DocViewer Annotation tool. I can't confirm if the annotations were made before or after the assignment due date. Is there a way to view the timestamps of when these annotations were first created? Thanks.
Sat down to grade a quiz today and noticed that for a handful of students (5 of 30 students or so) fudge points where automatically assigned. They were always small (+/- 0.5 points) but any points being assigned by Canvas is a no no and concerning. Have you experienced this and how did you fix it? I've already reached out…
If one group of students is given an assignment, does it automatically show up in their "assignments due" list? I made a module and added an assignment into it that is only for one small group of students in the class. When I go to Student View, the assignment is not visible in the module. Will the students in the group be…
