I use a Discussion Board for having students sign up for dates to present their speeches by using "Reply," then posting "To sign up for Tuesday, November X, click Reply." Then I click "reply" at the bottom of my post, and it posts it. I want to be able to have a set number of replies, and then the program won't let any…
Hello, I gave an on demand essay to my students as I was out for the day. I put them on Go Guardian, and I even put in a Torjan Horse in the prompt. (Tiny white letters that said "include the word 'hockey' in your response.) However, when I look at Revision Assistant it shows that every student copied the prompt. Is it…
Hey, I'm a bit unsure about a message I sent through Canvas. I'm wondering if it went just to me, or to the whole class. In the "To:" field, it only shows my name, and the message is only in my sent folder. I can see an option to add all 60 classmates, but I'm worried I might have accidentally sent a personal reminder to…
I am a new student and my course starts tomorrow. It is an online course. It is also a Sunday so I cannot call up for…
My instructor says her end is showing the assignments as published, but they are not showing in my portal. She has advised me to start a ticket with Canvas. How do I do that?

These Pages remain unpublished, yet are viewable to teachers, as allowed. ***Is there a way to protect these Pages, so that they are not published unintentionally? It is all too easy to click the…
PLEASE HELP! I was cleaning up some stuff and accidentally deleted the first exam of the semester while in the grade book! Now it's gone, along with the students' grades on the exam! How can I get this back? Lisa

When an assignment is created there is the option for "paper copy submission" which is great. However students can't see that option displayed. It just gives them no option to submit. Can we get an option to display "paper copy" to students so they realize how it needs to be submitted?
