Updates on status of Free for Teacher available?

Are there any updates that can be given to those of us who use the Free for Teach platform? There are many of us who use this and are associated with a college. Grades are due this week and we are unable to do our job. Any information would be a huge help to so many of us.

I recommend following the updates located towards the bottom of this page here: https://www.instructure.com/incident_update . That will be the best area to look into updates.

I appreciate your response however, the status updates on that page list that all Canvas platforms are operational. None of the statuses relate to Free for Teacher and so we do not have any updates to go by. All of us who use Free for Teacher really need someone who works for Canvas to respond to one of us.

Hi Noah, To reiterate what Theresa said, the update page link and the screenshot you attached mention nothing about the Canvas Free for Teachers' status. We would appreciate any communication or updates from the Canvas team about CFFT specifically. Thank you for your time.

Is yours still online? My colleagues told me they had access around the time you posted this comment, but by the time I got to my computer I'm back to the initial redirect to the incident update page. I'm not sure if accounts are being reactivated in batches or if it was just a blip that courses were temporarily active again.

We know some of you noticed the maintenance page briefly come down today. I want you to know we are actively working to find a safe path to bring Free for Teacher back online in a way that protects the broader Community experience.

That said, while the maintenance page was temporarily removed, login functionality was not available.

We know many of you are eager for updates, and we’re working to share a formal announcement as soon as possible.

Login was available. I was in my classes as were my students. It would be helpful as others have said if there could be specific update for FFT or even a general time line.

I believe he is referring to the Security Incident Update & FAQs , they did say last night that the Free Service is currently unavailable. It is also listed at the site.

@mmoore1 is right, yep! The security FAQ document is where updates regarding FFT will be posted. While they may not have posted anything yet, according to Steve Daly's message, that is where updates will be posted and where you should direct your attention.
