I’m in the final weeks of my courses, and I’ve just learned that Canvas FFT accounts have been temporarily disabled due to the recent breach incident. At this point, I don’t know when access will be restored or whether these accounts will even be reopened at all. One of my biggest concerns is the possibility that FFT accounts could be permanently closed.
I rely heavily on my FFT account for teaching and have invested a great deal of time and effort into designing and managing my courses there, so this situation is deeply upsetting and stressful, especially at such a critical point in the semester.
I wanted to ask whether other FFT users here are feeling the same way and dealing with similar concerns.
I’m also very worried about access to my students’ grades. Final grade calculations are due in the next two weeks, and unfortunately, I do not have a backup of my grade records. Does anyone know whether it’s possible to obtain a copy of student grades or course data while accounts are disabled?
Any information, updates, or advice would be greatly appreciated.
