I am not sure if this has been suggested by others, but I'd love to seen an option in the automation set-up for post-enrollment nudges to choose how many days before the start of a course to automatically send a personalized email.
Currently the trigger is set by completion threshold and days after enrollment. I'd love to set-up automatic emails to be sent x days before a course begins, which could be tied to the section dates or enrollment end date on the listing, so that they get just in time information about what to expect and prepare. This would be beneficial for us to increase show rates to in-person courses.
This is also more beneficial than just setting up an announcement in Canvas LMS, since our users are students that typically ignore those notifications, while emails from Catalog appear to come from our program directly.
