Summary:
When completing a SCORM assessment that is part of a module requirement in Canvas Careers using the back navigation button in the careers breadcrumbs leads back to My progress where the completion is not updated until refreshing the page.
Expected Behavior:
Navigating back using Canvas Careers interface should show the updated completion status of completed items.
Workaround:
Refreshing the page or navigating without using the back arrow navigation refreshed the “my progress” page to show the item is completed.
Steps to Reproduce:
Prerequisite: Have a course in a Canvas Careers sub-account with a SCORM assessment added as a “Submit“ requirement to unlock a later module and have at least one active student enrollment.
- As a student complete the SCORM assessment.
- Note that the item shows completed in the left side panel.
- Navigate to “my progress” using the back arrow navigation in Careers UI.
- Note that the completed Item does not show as completed.
- Refresh the page
- Note that the item requirement now shows as completed
