Finish the Registration Process Error

I keep getting this pop-up when trying to view my course from Student View, yet no email will ever send to me. I have a free Canvas account through my gmail for reference.

Please help!! I am in an education class and part of it is making our own course… and mine is currently broken 😞

Hey @BriannaBailey26 ,

I'm glad you were able to get the content exported to your .edu account. In your account settings, under Email Addresses, your email should appear there has a blue link if it hasn't been successfully verified. Upon clicking on it, you should have the option to re-send the confirmation email.

If you have tried that and still haven't received the email within 24 hours or so, I'd recommend reaching out directly to technical support for assistance. You can reach out to technical support by clicking the Help button via the global navigation menu, which is the grayish blue bar on the left side of the screen, and clicking Report a Problem. You can then complete the form and somebody from technical support will hopefully reach out to you.

Hey there @BriannaBailey26!

I think part of the issue of why you may not be receiving the email is because in order to have a functioning teacher account on FFT, your email needs to be associated with a .edu domain. Taking a look, your account is currently associated with a gmail.com account.

Are you by chance affiliated with a higher education institution where you can use a .edu email address?

I do, but am taking classes through my institution on there. Is it possible to transfer what I have built on this account to my .edu email?
