Engineers are currently investigating the issue.
Summary:
In languages that use a comma as the decimal separator, the grade field on the right pane of the SpeedGrader incorrectly displays numbers with three decimal places. The separator is removed and displays the number as a whole value, making it appear significantly larger than intended.
Expected Behavior:
The grade should display the decimal separator correctly.
Workaround:
Disable the ‘_Performance and usability upgrades for Speedgrader’_ feature flag or use the ‘Use Old Speedgrader UI’ option in Speedgrader.
Steps to Reproduce:
Prerequisites: A course with a student enrolled.
- Set the course language to one that uses a comma as the decimal separator (e.g., Deutsch, Português)
- Either:
- Create a quiz (Classic or New), open SpeedGrader, and enter a grade with three decimal places for a question, or
- Create an assignment, go to the Gradebook, and enter a grade with three decimal places.
- Look at the grade field on the right pane of SpeedGrader, notice that the decimal separator is missing.
