Existing BigBlueButton conferences are unresponsive to manual attendee changes

Summary:

When editing an existing BigBlueButton conference to add more attendees, the changes appear to save but don't actually persist. The newly added attendees disappear when you return to the conference settings.

Expected Behavior:

When you edit a conference, add attendees, and save, those attendees should remain in the conference settings.

Workaround:

None found. You would need to create a new conference with the full attendee list.

Steps to Reproduce:

Prerequisites: A course with at least two student enrollments and BigBlueButton enabled.

1. Create a new BigBlueButton conference
2. Manually add specific attendees (can be just 1 person or multiple)
3. Save the conference
4. Edit the conference and add additional attendees
5. Save and observe the success message
6. Navigate back to the conference list, then edit the conference again
   1. The newly added attendees are gone, only the original attendees remain<
