Parchment Digital Badges: Badge Visibility Control
Summary
Admins can control whether Catalog displays the No Available Badges message on course cards when a listing does not have a Parchment Digital Badges badge assigned.
Change Benefit
This update gives admins greater control over the storefront user interface and helps prevent unassigned listings from appearing lower-value due to the “No Available Badges” message.
Feature Workflow
In the Parchment Digital Badges settings within Catalog, click the Show ‘No Available Badges’ message from listings toggle on or off.
The Disabled setting displays the message [1], while the Enable setting hides the message on course cards for listings without assigned badges [2].
Storefront Experience (Legacy and Modern)
- The setting is applied dynamically when listings render.
- Listings with assigned badges are unaffected.
- Listings without assigned badges follow the admin toggle setting.
- Behavior is consistent across both storefronts.
