I have created a couple of interactive elements in Notebook LM and want to upload them to my Canvas page… The only options for exporting from Notebook are CSV and JSON…
Does anyone know of a way to integrate the JSON files into Canvas pages?
Hi @RussellPlayer,
CSV and JSON are generally data files, not interactive elements that could be used in other places. Canvas can certainly display CSV or JSON files, but they are going to be plain text type things. You may just need to link users to your NotebookLM content if it's interactive.

From the user end, a lot of things can be restricted even for teachers. You might need to speak with your institution's Canvas admin to have them give you privileges for LTI and/or API access. Maybe someone with more experience can clarify better.
However, you might check out this guide: https://community.instructure.com/en/kb/articles/661490-how-do-i-add-an-app-using-json-in-canvas-apps
There is one for JSON URL too: https://community.instructure.com/en/kb/articles/661488-how-do-i-add-an-app-using-json-url-in-canvas-apps
These are both admin level guides, but maybe that will get you started.
Thank you. I appreciate the assistance
How to embed a video to discussion, from a computer?
Hi @MavisBeamon00652473,
The easiest way is documented in the https://community.instructure.com/en/kb/articles/660491-how-do-i-use-canvas-studio-through-the-rich-content-editor-in-canvas support article.

Hi there @MavisBeamon00652473 …
The information from @dbrace will work if your school has paid for the Canvas Studio product available from Instructure (the folks that make Canvas). You would see a "Studio" icon on the far left-hand global navigation menu within your Canvas environment if your school has purchased the Studio product.
But, if you do not have access to Canvas Studio, then there is an alternate option for you. Discussion topics use the Rich Content Editor (RCE), so you could upload and/or record a video using the tools in the RCE. Take a look at some of these Guides:
I hope one or more of these Guides will also be of help. Sing out if you have any questions!
