Engineers are currently investigating the issue.
Summary:
There is an option with Windows to apply a “high contrast theme”. This theme makes Speedgrader 2 practically unusable, it strips a lot of formatting and many header boxes overlay one another.
Impact:
For users who need this accessibility option and would like to apply it to their device instead of on a webpage basis, (ie using our option for high contrast) then they will be unable to use Speedgrader effectively.
Workaround:
Either do not use the Windows theme and use the Canvas High Contrast UI option instead or use the old Speedgrader UI
Steps to Reproduce:
Prerequisites: Have a course with Speedgrader 2 enabled, an assignment to open Speedgrader from and a Windows device
- Enable contrast themes in device settings
- Navigate to Speedgrader and notice the issue
