Description:
After adding a resource from the Link Selection placement, clicking the plus button to add another resource to the module shows the URL of the resource you just linked instead of an empty field
Expected behavior:
Page should either refresh to clear data after adding an item via Link Selection, or clicking the plus button should present you with options for adding different module items, usually starting with the Assignments list
Workaround:
Refresh the page to clear the cached data or try reclicking the tool you want to add a new resource from so that it replaces the URL currently showing
Steps to Reproduce:
Prerequisite: An external tool with the Link Selection placement enabled.
- Go to the course modules page.
- Click the + button next to the Module publish icon.
- Select ‘External Tool’ from the dropdown and select a tool to return a link from.
- Select a resource from the tool and when the URL is returned from the Tool’s UI, press [Add Item].
- Click the + button next to the Module publish icon again to select a new resource, and see how it still shows type ‘External Tool’ and the URL the tool sent back in the last Deep Linking Response.
