Old graded assignments and quizzes disappearing from my course completely

Hello, I am running a Free For Teacher Canvas course with over 100 students and when I am creating new quizzes the old ones at random decide to just disappear completely. Not all, but just randomly things are disappearing as if they never existed even in the gradebook over 50 students completed assignments and it's just gone. No record of it existing. Alongside this, some of the assignments will randomly move over to other modules when I did not touch any of them at all.

Please help me get in touch with someone who can help with this issue. I really need to get the scores back as it is crucial for the course.

Lesson 5 Attendance Part 1 GONE from Grades, Assignments, etc.

Lesson 3 Attendance Part 1 and Part 2 GONE from Grades, Assignments, etc.

Lesson 2 Quiz completely gone.

Lesson 1 Attendance completely gone.

Another issue is that somethings quizzes will be duplicated for no apparent reason with double the number of questions (see Lesson 1 Quiz)

@datws I am so sorry this is happening! Are you the only Teacher, TA, or Course Admin in the course? Have you tried reaching out to Instructure Support?

Yes, I am the only instructor for the course and some of the module part just disappeared

Hey @datws ,

I unfortunately do not have a major update for you. However, have you tried looking to see if your quizzes appear in the /undelete menu? You can access this page by going to the home-page of your course, and then typing /undelete at the end of the URL (i.e. canvas.instructure.com/courses/12345/undelete).

If they appear there, undelete them and see if the scores return. However, they shouldn't have magically disappeared to begin with.
