Conditional Question on an Ungraded Survey

Is it possible to create a conditional question? We want to ask a question and give several possible multiple-choice answers, but have the last option be "other" with a fill-in-the-blank for what that other option may be. How can that be done? This is an ungraded survey in Catalog designed to collect demographic data, which is required for the grant funding the course.

Hi @hartljo,

I agree with Jessica that this is something you'll likely need to use an external survey/form platform to accomplish. I do know Instructure is adding some survey functionality to New Quizzes in Canvas in the near future, but I don't know if this type of question/answer will be included either. Canvas has always has relatively basic survey functionality, which is often enough to get the job done but in cases where it's too basic, you'll have to move to a more robust survey-focused system.
