I’m working on validating the API test cases for CANVAS Api and need suitable test data to verify the 200 OK status code responses. I am using free for teachers version account. PFA Ecel sheet about the end points I am checking for.
From your Excel sheet (you mentioned, but I haven’t seen it), typical endpoints for Canvas API validation include:
/api/v1/courses
/api/v1/courses/:course_id
/api/v1/users/self
/api/v1/accounts/self
/api/v1/courses/:course_id/assignments
/api/v1/courses/:course_id/sections
Prepare test data
Since you’re using a free account, some data might not exist yet. You need existing IDs to get 200 OK responses. Here’s how to prepare:. Get all courses (your account)
