I'm a new teacher. I will be teaching middle school Career and Technology (CTE) Pathways. What suggestions do you have for effectively leveraging Canvas? Also, do you have any Lessons Learned?

My suggestion is to be organized and consistent! 😊 The great thing about using Canvas is that any files you save there will be accessible to you as long as you use Canvas. Although it will take some effort to put things in folders and setting on your own naming conventions, it will help you for years to come. It's something I wish I did when I started!
A lesson learned is to give details to your students- over and over again. Especially with middle schoolers! Give details in your directions for anything. Try to predict what questions they might have and answer them before they even ask!

I have searched high and low and am still missing the information on how to successfully upload an artifact to my ePortolio. I can get to the assignments and can see where to upload them, however when I select the file and attach, it never shows as attached to the page within the portfolio. Any suggestions?
I know that Folio will no longer be accessible after June 30, 2026. What will happen to the portfolio links that students share, can they still see them after June 30, 2026?
