[OPEN] Assignments submitted with Quantitative Data settings enabled appear as missing for students

Description

• If a student submits to an assignment while “Restrict view of quantitative data” is enabled, that assignment will still show as missing or “Not Submitted” from the students grade page.

Expected Behavior

• Since the students did submit, the UI should reflect that submission instead of showing that it’s “Not Submitted.”

Workaround

No workaround exists at this time.

Steps to Reproduce

Prerequisite: A canvas course that has the setting “Restrict view of quantitative data” enabled.

1. In a course, create an assignment with a due date

   1. It must be able to be submitted to

2. As a student, submit to it.

3. After submitting, navigate to the students ‘Grades’ tab and notice that the assignment is still showing as 'Not Submitted.”
