Order of Select on User Defined Fields

When creating user defined fields in Catalog - the order of options under "select" is automatically alphabetical - making the choices in a weird order when the options are chronological. For example if the question is asked "What is your highest level of education" the fields read:

Bachelor's

Doctorate

GED

High School Diploma

Master's

None

Is there a way to correct this other than adding letters or numbers to the options?

Thanks, @jsowalsk it looks like there is no solution for this. In order to have the select options in a particular order you have to add a number or letter for each option.

Just flagging that this is a big issue for us too. Really strange that you can't customise it, especially since the order of the listings is retained in the dialog box!

For this very reason we left the field as a regular "text" field instead of a "select" field.
