How do I prevent students from starting modules early?

Question

I've created a catalog course where I don't want students to complete each module in order. I've set all prereqs and requirements for each module. However, the first item in each module still appears for students to access. How do I lock the entire module down until students complete the previous module?

I found the solution...it was waiting. After a few minutes the modules are all locked correctly.
