Commons provides default placeholder thumbnail images for content. Users are no longer required to provide thumbnail images for content. Previously, adding a thumbnail image was a required step when selecting content to share to Commons. This update provides a placeholder thumbnail image by default. Users continue to have the option to upload their own images if they choose.
