ILP Colleague Display Name

ILP overwrites the display name in Canvas. I see an option under the app settings to "provision preferred name." However, when setting the preferred name in Colleague it does not appear to be passing back to Canvas but rather still overwriting with legal name. Does anyone have a solution for this? TIA

We use ILP and have the same setting, "provision preferred name," which has worked for us. I wonder where you are pulling that information for the preferred name? When we saw that the preferred name was not being pulled, we noticed the record did not have their preferred name in the correct field within Colleague.
