How can I add administrator role?
I need to create my own environment from Git?

The free account is not at all the same thing as creating your own Canvas environment from Git. A free account would be in Instructure's "free for teacher" canvas environment. In that environment, you cannot add administrators or anything because it's owned by Instructure.

In addition to the information you received from @chriscas, the PDF document that is linked in this document might also be of help...as it details what a normal paid Canvas environment has in comparison to a Free For Teachers (FFT) environment. As Chris described, FFT does not have an admin side.
