I am trying to add new students to my course, however when I try and add them by email, it just says they were unable to find them. I don't understand how to add new people and send them an invite to the course via email.

Are you using the Free For Teacher (FFT) version of Canvas? Or, has your school purchased Canvas? If you are using a paid version of Canvas, your school may already have a process set up to handle enrollments so that you do not have to enroll students on your own into your course(s). If you could help identify if you are using FFT or a paid Canvas environment, that would be helpful...thanks!
