Is there a way for course owners (and administrators) to see directly from the course’s Studio gallery whether each video is embedded in Canvas, and if so, to quickly identify which page it appears on?
Does anyone have experience or know of any tools that can be applied to Canvas Studio videos (during video capture or post upload) where the narrator's strong accent can be 'softenend' in order to generate more accurate captions?
Is there any way to identify Canvas Studio videos on a course and institutional level where the automatically generated captions have been reviewed and updated? This filtering mechanism would be of great value when updating captions that aren't that accurate (eg. scientific terms).
When sharing media from Studio using the Public Link or Embed Code, are the videos still ad free? Let's say I wanted the link to post as a URL in a Module in Canvas ( opening in a new browser window or opening inside of Canvas). I have recently experienced this method showing ads before playing the intended video content.…
I have an assignment that requires me to submit two video clips via Studio for one assignment. The professor stated the submission must be done through Studio vs. "Uploading" two video files. Please advise. I have included a screenshot of the submission options I have, and repeat, was told to use Studio. However, when…
Have any other school districts that purchase Canvas Studio heard of any users seeing Youtube Ads again when they add a Youtube video to Studio? The last time we had this issue - Admins and Canvas support could not replicate the issue. But the teachers sent us footage of the issue in action. The notes below were last…
Good morning, A faculty member is experiencing an issue with Canvas Studio audio file that she's embedded into a Canvas Page. In Canvas Studio, the audio file displays its thumbnail correctly. But when that same audio file is embedded into the Canvas Page, the Canvas Studio player, for a split second, shows the thumbnail,…
In viewing Student Results for an embedded Studio Video Quiz in two course sections, I am only able to see Attempt 1. To check, I've used the Test Student to take the quiz again with a better score (100% vs 75%). Only the first lower score shows in Student Results. This is true on computer as well as in the Canvas App.…
My institution has both Canvas LMS and Canvas Studio. I have a pretty good handle on how to embed Studio media in a Canvas course, but I'm trying to understand how to use Canvas Studio as a stand-alone product (for our teachers who refuse to use Canvas LMS) to share content from YouTube. I see how to Share Media and how to…
I am trying to use Canvas Capture in Canvas Studio, on a chrome browser, to upload a speech. I am using the fullscreen option, and I made sure that every option was allowed. On my screen I am presenting a speech with a Microsoft Powerpoint slideshow, and the camera in the from the screen capture in the corner. When I am…
