Does anyone have experience or know of any tools that can be applied to Canvas Studio videos (during video capture or post upload) where the narrator's strong accent can be 'softenend' in order to generate more accurate captions?
@CarolaUSC thank you for the feedback, that is an interesting ask and we have not thought about adding such tools in Studio.
To mitigate the accuracy question from a different angle for now, we’ll be introducing a helpful feature in the caption editor that proactively highlights potential inaccuracies for content creators. This is planned for January, and we’re confident it will make a difference as our Early Access Program showed an average time savings of around 30%.

Canvas Studio (whether using the recording functionality built into your web browser or when using Screencast-o-Matic) does not come with that ability.
I do know that the Canvas Studio product manager (@Akos Farago) is not based in the United States and English is not their first language. I mention that because they might be willing to have a conversation with you about your narration concerns so that captions can be more accurate.

That’s really exciting news about the proactive highlighting feature coming in January! While 'accent softening' would be a dream, having the AI point out exactly where it struggled will be a massive time-saver for those of us doing manual cleanup. Can't wait to see that 30% time savings in action!
