is there a way to stop getting notifications for every time I get an assignment graded?

Question

I understand that canvas is a core part of my education and that's why blocking/report spam doesn't work. However getting so many emails is filling my Gmail with spam, and I get constant annoying notifications on my phone (I won't turn off gmail notifications because some things are actually important).

Is there a way to get notifications solely for things that actually matter and not all the "weekly canvas" and "your assignment has been graded" spam?

If not, can the developers please make this a thing?

There are two main ways you can configure your Canvas notifications as a user.  First, you can configure your overall Canvas account notifications which apply to all courses.  Next, you can configure notifications per course.  When in Canvas, you'll want to click on your "Account" icon in the far left-hand global navigation menu.  Then, select "Notifications".  Take note of the "i" information boxes at the top of the screen.  Just below there you will see a drop-down menu for "Settings for".  Here, you can select "Account" (which is for your entire Canvas account) or for a specific course.  (Again, take note of those "i" information boxes when you select a specific course…as they are slightly different.)  When on either the "Account" or an individual course notification screen, click on any of the icons under any of the appropriate columns to change the frequency of notifications from the options of Notify immediately, Daily summary, Weekly summary, or Notifications off.
