Summary
The Large Language Model (LLM) integration is updated with the following changes:
- Upgrades the model from Gemini 3 Flash to Gemini 3.5 Flash across multiple steps, including Structured Query Language (SQL) generation, ahead of the planned deprecation of Gemini 3 Flash.
- Improves prompt interpretation for learning outcomes using the canvas_outcome_calculation_methods and canvas_outcome_friendly_descriptions tables.
- Fixes a pinboard layout issue so single-metric Key Performance Indicator (KPI) pins display centered in the card.
- Adds a one-time legal notice about artificial intelligence (AI) for first-time users, shown as a modal on first launch with Accept and Cancel buttons.
- Adds the infrastructure changes needed to migrate the underlying database from BigQuery to Apache Iceberg, behind a feature flag that's currently disabled.
