Vimeo videos in Canvas Studio

When I add a Vimeo video to Canvas Studio, is it still in Vimeo or does it upload to Canvas? I want to MOVE my videos off of Vimeo and into Canvas. Does adding the link do that?

I do not have first-hand experience with Vimeo but when adding media to your Canvas Studio Library from either YouTube or Vimeo, the video continues to officially reside at YouTube or Vimeo. This means that the video is not deleted from YouTube or Vimeo and then added to Canvas Studio.

For your scenario, since you are the owner of the videos on Vimeo you would have two options:

1. OPTION #1
   1. you would need to download the videos from Vimeo
   2. upload the videos to Canvas Studio
   3. if desired, delete the videos from Vimeo
2. OPTION #2: if you still have the videos stored locally or somewhere else, upload the videos to Canvas Studio
