Get ready for a fully accessible LearnPlatform
At Instructure, we're committed to providing a seamless and inclusive experience for all educators. We're excited to announce a significant update coming to LearnPlatform, redesigned from the ground up to meet modern Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2 A/AA standards. We'll publish our third-party VPAT in April alongside these views. Institutions can opt in to this new experience during the spring on your preferred timeline, with a customer-wide transition coming by the end of summer. Opting in helps your district ensure compliance with federal accessibility rulings.
What's changing We've modernized the look and feel of LearnPlatform to be more consistent with the Instructure portfolio and worked to improve accessibility for all users. While the core functionality you rely on remains the same, you'll notice improvements in:
- Organization library and request flow: Simplified list and card views drive educators to review product details before submitting a request
- Filter Tray: Filters are now accessible from a tray, leveraging best practices and consistent ways to find tools
- Redesigned product details overview: Holistic product information is now consolidated into a streamlined overview page
- Meaningful Small Enhancements: We heard your feedback on proper ordering of tag lists and easier navigation within Form Builder.

Sign ups for our Early Adopter Program are now closed, however all Organization Administrators will have the opportunity to preview the changes in late April.
