What is happening
Canvas Catalog will be temporarily unavailable during the timeframes listed below. Users will see a maintenance screen during this period. No action is required on your part.

This upgrade is necessary to support the continued scalability and performance of the Catalog platform. It aligns with our ongoing infrastructure modernization efforts.

February 13
- Sydney: 14:00 – 18:00 UTC
- Singapore: 14:00 – 18:00 UTC
February 16
- IAD (Virginia, USA): 08:00 – 12:00 UTC
- PDX (Portland, USA): 08:00 – 12:00 UTC
February 22
- YUL (Montreal, Canada): 08:00 – 12:00 UTC
- Dublin: 08:00 – 12:00 UTC
- Frankfurt: 08:00 – 12:00 UTC
Additional notes
- Direct links to Canvas LMS courses will continue to work if they do not pass through Canvas Catalog.
- Links that route through Catalog, including listings, enrollment pages, or the storefront, will show the maintenance screen during the downtime.
- CD2 queries targeting the Catalog namespace will also fail during the maintenance window. We recommend planning any data operations around these timeframes.
After the maintenance
Once the upgrade is complete, Canvas Catalog will return to full functionality. Users can resume all activities as normal. No additional steps are needed.
