Hello, this is a question I have had continuously for over a decade. When I type free-form comments and manually enter grades on a rubric and then navigate away from the page without tapping "submit assessment," I return to a completely blank rubric—even if I have saved other comments on the page. I know this from many hair-tearing hours of re-grading assignments on which comments and grades were lost, but that doesn't prevent accidental taps of the arrow when I think I have saved my work, or even an accidental swipe away from the page. My question is WHY can't we have a nudge that prompts us to save our work before it is so easily lost? I am an adjunct professor, not paid well for my time, and this really infuriates me. Has there been any progress on fixing this problem? I know that many others have had the same concern over the years. Thank you for revisiting the issue!
