We are working on a project to import grades from Canvas into Banner. During the testing phase we discovered a few students who show the correct grade in the gradebook but when we pull Canvas Data the grade is different. When we go to the gradebook and export grades we get the same incorrect grade as Canvas Data. When we click the sudents name in the gradebook the slideout also shows the wrong grade. We have verified there are no drop rules on the assignment groups and no excused assignments. After running the math it looks like the online gradebook is dropping one of the exam grades.
What would cause the grades to be different between the two? Has anyone seen something like this before?
